I have a large DSLR and lens so never expected this to hold up. If you have a small point-and-shoot camera or even a mirrorless camera, this could suit you. When fully stripped with the Samsung Galaxy Note, it still feels sturdy. The oversized handle also makes it comfortable to hold. When folded, it is easy to transport. The remote is plastic and thin, maybe even a little thin, but it feels solid in a silicone holder. There are zoom in and out buttons on the remote that don't seem compatible with my phone so they just serve as extra triggers. I took off a star because the photo in the description shows it supports DSLR, but you have to make a decision. to name.
