Needs Improvement

First of all, this review relates to the currently available version of Hopsulator Trio v2.0. Many of the reviews and pictures here are from an older version that may not have had the issues I experienced. Although I really wanted to like this product, I'm not a fan of this new version. I read the reviews and was looking forward to using it, especially with the "arctic adapter" in the summer. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. Let's start with what I liked about it: the idea behind it is great. Koozie, which keeps your drinks cold even better on hot days by adding an internal ice pack. Versatility. Love the idea of using one piece for large or small glasses and also using it as an insulated pint glass. But what I didn't like was that everything was inside when I first opened it. wet. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the Arctic Adapter was leaking and the gel that was supposed to cool it had leaked into the packaging bag. I was disappointed but didn't stop there... I returned the Revain and asked for a replacement thinking it must have been an accident. Replacement has arrived. Same problem. Exactly. Contacted Brumate directly to see what they could do but they just told me to send it back via Revain. Not quite the answer I was hoping for and didn't want to order a third to find out it was just an issue they are having. The frozen adapter was my biggest selling point, so that was a big disappointment. Unlike all similar products I have used, the ring at the top of this jar does not enclose the jar within. I like that you don't have to unscrew the lid to put the jars in - you can just pop it in, but the fit was loose on the jars I tested. I just returned it so didn't manage to use it for drinking but the glasses rotated freely. Obviously you wouldn't turn it upside down if it had an open jar in it, but if you did it with a closed jar it would slip out. I think this will also limit the effectiveness of the vacuum insulation... You really don't want air to be able to get in and out as that defeats the purpose. Definitely looking for a tighter fit. The drinking lid uses no threads on the top of the container. It has an insert seal that I have seen and used on other insulated pint glasses. The problem again is the fit. It doesn't fit as tight as I'd like, and the gasket sits right under the threads, so it feels like a small bump from the bottom could easily dislodge them. Again I didn't get a chance to use it as there were already problems when I opened it so it was returned but I could very easily see the ice in your drink knocking off the lid once you hit the bottom of your drink had achieved . .I would like to see some improvements to this product and would definitely be interested in trying again.
