It's smaller than I expected but that's ok as more air will flow around it. I liked that it was one of the few models available that had the SSD facing up (rather than down) when installed in the tower. This also allows my CPU fan to let some air through and prevent it from ending up in a dead air pocket. because linux assigns devices based on the "bus" they are on and injecting this ssd adapter also moved my network adapter id, which broke the routing table rules already in place. Manually correcting the identifiers in the configuration files solved the problem. Can't say much about it other than that it works well and I haven't had enough load to see how well it handles heat dissipation (I also installed a small heatsink that I bought separately so I don't expect that I will reach eventual temperature limits)
