Almost exactly as pictured (except for the shiny aging). I look forward to the aging process. As a tanner myself and looking at the details, that's very good. When opening the plastic bag it came in, it smelled clearly of "farm". A hayloft, if you will, that took a while to unravel (it still gives a hint after two weeks if I put my nose in my pocket). But it's worth it. Now I carry two 17" laptops and a couple of folders in my bag. The main bag has two compartments with excellent size three compartments, another zipped compartment inside the bag and two zipped compartments on either side of the large space. A front pocket with TWO studded straps (not the ones in the photo) and a pocket at each end (again with two studded straps). I expect to be using this bag in 20-30 years. , both for the quality and for the looks.If I knew now what I know now, I would definitely make this purchase without hesitation since I have been using it for a few weeks now.
