I like this bag - well made, good leather. I would advise you to order Bickmore Bick 4 Leather Conditioner 16 oz at the same time - the best since 1882 - cleaner and conditioner - to restore shine and protect any treated smooth leather (or at least another conditioner). In my experience, the skin was very, very dry and tight. If the leather is not treated, every small scratch will leave indelible marks. It will also be prone to cracking and delamination. Not close to the color in the photo at all. The instructions in the bag say the bag will darken in a couple of weeks but it has been in use for 3 weeks and has not discolored at all. There were quite a few bags to choose from but I chose this one because of the beautiful color in the photo. I am disappointed in this product and do not recommend it. Well the bag arrived on time even though it wasn't in stock when I ordered it. I placed my order on Saturday, was told the bag would be in stock by Monday and I could receive it by Wednesday (I have Prime). Didn't really expect it to be in stock in 2 days and was ready for a late delivery if it was even ready. To my surprise, the bag was in stock on Monday as promised, as was my package. In general the quality of the leather is excellent. It has a real cowhide smell and the leather seems to last a long time. However, the seams used for the bag and the inner material cannot hold up. I had to return the bag due to a defect in the stitching as shown in the photos. The manufacturer had problems with stitching in some key places, sometimes with leather and leather inserts or leather and zipper. The color, or rather the polish everyone is talking about, really rubs into your clothes.
