Great bag. Continuous. Excellent stuff. Smells fantastic. Lots of nice little pockets and more including a double zip pocket on the back so you don't have to open your bag just to get some papers and read on the bus. I'm glad I have it. But. A dedicated pocket is located on the front of the main compartment with a zippered access. I usually hide my headphones (earbuds) and such in there. A similar zip pocket is located on the inside back of the main compartment. The fabric over the zipper is clearly intended to be sewn into the overlying skin. but that is not the case here. Instead, either the fabric was too short (and wouldn't sew on) or there should have been a double stitch and it didn't. In any case, the fabric was simply tucked under a leather fold. When I put the headphones in there, the upper part of the fabric flew open. I put it back in and now it pops out every time I open or unzip this bag. (See picture) Oh shit. This cannot happen with the inner zip pocket on the back as the fabric there is one large piece of fabric that forms the underside of the satchel flap. This is not a breach of the terms of the contract. It's still a great bag with no spring-loaded buttons, which is important as those buttons can have devastatingly short lifespans. This open seam doesn't interfere with functionality (I just tuck it back under the skin every time I close my bag) and I'll probably just sew it myself, but maybe it's important to you, dear reader.
