Review on 🎨 Faber-Castell 72 Soft Pastel Set by Jessica Lewis

Very good soft pastel set for school children. It has an amazing range of colors and really good packaging - padding on both sides. The fact that they are semi-pastel in color ensures that they will not break during transport or use. To keep the fingers clean from the pigment I wrapped the middle of each of them with a thin strip of paper + tape. I do mixed media, so I don't use these pastels alone. I apply them over acrylic painting and they work great with one small exception: if the acrylic background is dark (i.e. darker than the pastel shade you intend to use over it), ONLY the darker pastel shades above will be visible; while progressively lighter shades make no difference.
