I mistakenly thought this was a "gentle cleanser" that I've been using for years and that it's a creamy version that doesn't sting my eyes and almost feels like a moisturizer when you cleanse your face . For some reason, maybe just years of using this product, I didn't know there was another version. The "Daily Cleanser" is different and that's what I ordered. It's more astringent - it's more transparent and soapy - it's not exactly stingy, but I don't feel safe putting it around my eyes, for example. I've already opened it so I can't go back. No one's fault - just make other customers aware that you're reading the label correctly!
