It's not very important, but it gets the job done. The detachable tray is made of thin plastic so nothing heavy will fit inside. However, he must do what is intended with care. I just wish the plastic was thicker. Being able to look inside the kit without removing the plastic shell is a good thing. The kit itself isn't covered in quilted material, but it's fine.
