Not quite basic colors as described. I bought this pack specifically for the yellow ones and for $5 and the convenience of not having to go to an art store I figured why not. Well, yellow isn't yellow. Red is a slightly faded red, orange borders on peach-orange, and yellow is carrot or goldenrod at best. Green is green and blue is blue. The pictures were difficult to take as my fancy iPhone camera tried to make them brighter than they really are. I tried it with different lighting conditions. Anyway, it was only $5, so while I'm annoyed at the fact that I have to go out and buy the regular base yellow, I'm not annoyed enough to get a refund. I can always use other colors. FYI, they are white in the center/edges (just in case you're wondering.
