I use the slider and like it more than other cat litter. It definitely helps with odors and I'm very happy that it's great for cleaning the litter box. The commercials aren't far from using a jackhammer to clean out that nasty cat box. I filter the cat box every other day or every 2 days. I have 2 cats, my oldest daughter has 1 cat and my youngest daughter has a cat. Mainly my grandchildren, so 4 cats in total. Pooh! The chute is a great help with cleaning and odors.
