I love this tote. Why four stars instead of five? I almost sent it back because it shipped flat and folded like a grocery bag. When unfolded, it has a built-in wrinkle running the width of the bag along the front under the external zippered pocket where it was folded. I don't get it. It's shipped in a fancy-purse dust cover and a second logo bag. Why not spend a few extra cents and stuff the bag with packing paper? I'm pretty hard on my handbags, but I do like them to look new for a couple of days before I start banging them up.So I was going to send it back, but I kept looking at it and realized how striking it is. And for the price, it is finished beautifully. Upon unwrapping it, I was worried about the handles. While adjustable, they came the perfect length for me. But they looked a little thin and delicate. When I inspected them, I realized they are well stitched and the edges burnished. No raw leather edges here! These are the handles of a more expensive bag. And I realized, for the price, I wouldn't have any problem stuffing it full and shoving it (gently) under an airplane seat or something similar.I've been carrying it for a week, and I love it. I waffled between the brown and wine red, and I'm so glad I chose the red. It just looks really rich. And it sits up straight, no slouching.A couple of details that are important to me: 1) The center zippered pocket is attached to the bottom. The top of the pocket is a few inches from the top of the sides, so it's much smaller than the bag itself. 2) One of the smaller interior pockets (the cell phone pocket) fits my iPhone 6 Plus handily.So while I wish it didn't come folded and pre-wrinkled, I'm glad I kept this bag.
