Holds the chain in place without additional holes in the fairing
I used to have screw-in guide chains that prevented the windows from tipping for cleaning. They fix this problem by keeping the chain loop so you can control the shadow. You may still need the screw style if you have a long chain, pets or children playing with the chain. For my short necklaces and no kids/pets this was a great solution.
