I bought these glasses because the original lenses on my favorite Oakley Half Jacket 2.0 XL were so scratched that I just got tired of wearing them. Oakley replacement lenses were prohibitively expensive (you might as well buy a whole new pair). They were cheap enough to reduce the risk of being junk, but not cheap enough to be guaranteed junk. Well I love her! Very happy with this investment. They look almost the same, block about the same amount of light, and have the same polarization as the originals. Compliance is not 100%, but very close. A common complaint about lenses from other brands has been that they are noticeably thinner and thinner than the original lenses, but from my naked eye observations they are the same thickness. Once inside, I was struck by its clarity. In fairness it also depends on how scratched my old lenses were, but there's still something to consider. I will definitely buy another set or two. I've never thought of that, but the affordable price allows for it. Also, they are made in the USA, which is beautiful and rarer.
