These socks are very cute. My 6 year old daughter loves them and she is about 50 inches tall and the socks come down to her knee. She asks to even wear them to gym class. I have washed them about 20 times in a very short time. still taut threads. The only thing I can see that might cause a problem is the bow that comes undone in the wash after so many washes, but that's an easy fix by putting it in a mesh garment bag (Dollar Tree sells them) .
