Much cheaper than Allsop branded version and better product. I bought this because Allsop reduced the thickness of their monitor stands resulting in a concave top and a wobbly monitor. I already had another monitor stand from Allsop so I tried it a second time hoping to get a suitable second monitor stand but after two faulty Allsop monitor stands I decided to try the much cheaper nameless one instead, though I would have to buy two. Two of these were cheaper than a single Allsop and turned out to be much better - stronger and also duller in colour. I would have preferred not to collect them, but it was very easy. A few weeks of use and so far they are doing a great job. The monitor doesn't shake when I type! They placed my monitors at the best height and also allowed me to remove the keyboard so I had room to put my printed documents in front of me on my desk during video conferences.
