Definitely not used for earrings.
I actually bought them to use as jump rings for a jade pendant. The jeweler wanted to change me $120 to wear a pair with no soldering! Just thought I'd give this a try before I spend the money and I'm so glad I didn't. These work perfectly! They snap in nice and tight and the chain I use has plenty of room. I will definitely buy another pair if needed. Thanks!
