Every yo-yo has a short break-in period, mostly for the line but also just for the feel. With a ProYo wooden yo-yo truck I learned to play with two hands. I'm still their fan. These MagicYos are heavy compared to them. The weight is 53 grams each. I'm not used to it, so it takes time to get used to. I haven't oiled them yet. A "heavy duty" grease is recommended for the bearing gripper, so I'll update the information later. These yo-yos responded with a plastic "starburst" drag system. One thing that struck me as odd was that the yo-yo didn't respond in the way I'm used to from the rigid axis when trying to shoot the moon. I really think it's just a "feel" (and lubrication) that will take me some time to adjust. I hope the weight of the yo-yo doesn't blister the finger where the string is coiled. I can always wrap it up or wait for the corns to come back. I haven't thrown a yo-yo in a long time. The hardest trick I learned was learning how to loop the yo-yo. For me it took about 6 months.
