Great addition to my A-frame camper. Works exactly as expected. Now I can charge things without taking out the generator. Very easy to install if you follow my steps below. I've noticed that some reviews have complained that it was difficult because the mounting bracket holes were close to the edge. Almost didn't buy it, so I decided to help someone else. Step-by-step installation - add screenshot / photo of connection diagram in images on Revain. (2nd photo) - Disconnect the battery and any other power sources coming into the system (shore power) - find the desired location. I put my converter box in so I didn't have to add a cable. Make sure there is at least 6" of nothing behind it for the pods to fit with the cables installed - install the mounting bracket with the 4 screws from the kit. Do not overtighten or clean the hole. Use a 1 inch hole saw with a drill. Try to center the mounting hole. Repeat 3 more times. Use a smaller drill bit with a drill bit to attach the edges of the new holes to the plastic of the mounting bracket. Like a router that enlarges a hole but won't cut plastic. Go slow and check the game afterwards. Don't forget that your capsule's lock nut must go over the wires before moving on to the next. Connect the switch to a 12V power supply and ground (for a reliable measurement it is best to use a direct output from the battery) - make sure all the connections are ok and the blocks are tight. USB test with something cheap, not a phone. The same with the car socket. Enjoy a job well done, hopefully in an hour or less.
