Truly stainless steel - tested and verified.
Amongst the variety of these ball bearings, some of them are just chrome steel that won't rust, I also tested them in a cup of salt water and let them sit for 2 days. They are alright. Washed and dried and now safe to put in a paint can or dropper bottle when needed.
