I had a big problem with bubbles putting this on my smooth dishwasher but finally figured out how to fix it. I was almost ready to take it off and throw it away because I couldn't get rid of the bubbles by peeling and smoothing again, so I finally let it think about it for a couple of hours. (I also called the manufacturer's customer service but never got an answer.) Later that day, I took a very sharp needle, made a tiny prick in each blister, and smoothed it out with a credit card. Sometimes water came out which told me I had splashed it too wet. After a lot of effort, it looked 80% better with a few small flat bubbles, but I left them. In the next two weeks they also almost disappeared. After all, they don't really stand out unless the light is direct and I'm standing at the right angle. So I'm pretty sure I splashed too much water. Just a warning to others. Use a very light mist. Don't give up if you get blisters at first, as they may flatten out over time. I am very happy with the end result and it now goes with the rest of my stainless steel appliances until I need to replace it.
