This used to be a great 180+ degree camera but it didn't work well from the front because the image was mirrored right to left. This version fixes that problem, making it easy to use from both the front and the back. In ten years, cameras will probably be mandatory on vehicles. It may take a while to get used to the camera perspective, but once you do, you won't encounter anyone walking near your car.
