Simply Excellent in Tools and Equipment

Excellent and works well. Much better than many others I've used over the years. I've used many coil spring compressors and while they don't have the safety hooks that some others do, I haven't encountered any problems using them. FYI Used on Bilstein truck springs so they can handle heavy springs.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Prize

Safe Spring Compression

Much better than auto parts stores I applied a liberal amount of lithium grease to the threads in the tubes before use. Compressed my Tundra's coil springs to change shocks with ease and felt confident. I used a connector that went back and forth between each compressor. Good product

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Well built for steering and suspension tools

The tool feels solid and well built. Compressed the factory springs on the Toyota Tundra, went down very well. Before use, I lengthened the threads of each tool to apply a little 3% high-pressure molybdenum grease and then, using a 19mm socket on the ratchet, compressed the springs, alternating 2-3 half turns on each compressor until the Spring was loose. enough to sit on a spacer. Then install the compressed spring onto the new shock absorber/strut.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write later

Great tool for the price

This is the best spring compressor I have ever used. I used this to compress a spring on new struts for my Lincoln Town Car so I could rotate the top bracket to suit my application and it made the job very easy. They fit well in the spring and didn't feel unsafe at all. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • hook detent spring that compresses by turning the hex nut.
Cons

This tool works! What a great price!

I ordered this tool after trying other spring compressors that didn't do the job or didn't seem safe to use. I used this tool to install a Bilstein 5100 on the front of my 2013 F150 STX 4x4. It compresses the stock springs with no problem, also compresses the new Moog 81118 coil springs with no problem (but can tell the new springs were stiffer, see pic). I have never felt unsafe with this tool. I used a wireless punch with the tool, it worked fine, I don't think I'll be using a strong air…

Pros
  • No additional systematic insertion/removal of the jaws required.
Cons
  • Some difficulties

The best spring compressors!

I used some rental compressors from an auto parts store. Now I have the only set I will ever need. They fit Honda Civic springs AND F-150 springs and don't stick or twist or make you feel like they're about to pop out and change your face at any moment. The clever design allows you to install a socket wrench or impact gun without having to remove the entire assembly. I used this to swap out the front coils on my Japanese kei van (talk about no clearance between coil and post) and both coils…

Pros
  • Features an adjustable guard to prevent accidental spring release under load.
Cons
  • update availability.
