We are at the end of our potty training for our two little ones. As a reward, they were allowed to move from a cot to a bunk bed "for big children". I really want to protect the new mattresses. It's been 1 week and so far I'm very happy with the purchase. It arrived quickly, as described (soft and quiet). My daughter was so excited about her new bed that she played with the toys on the bed all day. Much to my chagrin, she spilled her juice on the bed and didn't notice for hours. I hold my breath as I pull this cover off, worried about the stain on the new mattress. I cannot express how relieved I was when the mattress was saved. I followed the washing instructions and it came out of the dryer like new. The integrity of the coating was not compromised. I am planning to buy 2 more to stack their beds in case of accidents at night. Update: I bought 2 more, I'm so glad I did. After a family trip, we had a major setback with potty training. Layered mattress, mattress topper, bed sheet, mattress topper. It saves a life if she has an accident in the middle of the night if I can quickly peel off the top layer and go back to sleep. Needless to say, I washed my mattress pads far more often than I expected. I'm glad they're holding up well so far.
