First set got dry quickly, but seller replaced with no issues
The first set I ordered, certain colors seemed to get dry after only very little use, and I was storing them as per the package instructions. However, the seller and amazon sent me a replacement at no cost, and I could keep the original ones I had been sent, too. Colors are vibrant. Markers have a faint odor, but it's not entirely unpleasant. For example, a sharpie has a way more pungent smell. I didn't need to cover my nose in any way while using these.EDIT: I got a message from amazon a few weeks later saying that I did in fact need to return them. After some back and forth in the chat, I was able to get what the seller originally promised.
