I really like the idea of this collar and bracelet. It was also very cute and loved the tiny wooden bow that didn't get in the way too much. I usually hate detachable collars because nobody bothers to remove them. So I took a chance because people said it was a harder break. Unfortunately, the break was too hard for my 8-month-old pirate kitten. It was almost the perfect size for his neck when fully dressed, but he still managed to get his jaw underneath. I feel it stretches when it gets wet, like when cats wash themselves. Anyway, my kitty did this repeatedly until he got so stuck he started going crazy and it took two people to untie and no one got hurt. That was the last straw and he would no longer wear that collar. All I can say is that I'm thankful we were home when this happened because I don't want to think about how it could have been any different. Nice collar, great idea, nice design but the tear off was too tight. So if your kitty can manage with the jaw underneath like I did, it becomes a risk for her.
