This dog bed is the best! It is comfortable and with good cushioning. Love the way all sides are up, or should I say my dog loves the way all sides are up, perfect for the chin rest. I bought this dog bed when I had to leave my pup at the vet clinic for a few days. I am familiar with Sherpa material. It will keep your pet warm when they are cold and cool when they are hot. I knew he would be very comfortable and safe by the time I returned. When I got home I threw it in the washer and dryer and it looked brand new! Now he's in my kitchen so he can watch me, but heck, he still wants to stay by my side and share my kitchen rug with me. :-) It's the perfect size for a medium sized open drawer.
