I just got a "flash shoe adapter V1" and a piece of metal fell on the floor of one of the flash shoes when I was screwing it on. I'm glad it fell off before trying to attach anything to it, otherwise I could have broken expensive gear. There is no way to screw the metal back on so I'll try to glue it on as I needed them this weekend and don't have time to buy a replacement. Fingers penetrate adhesive bonds with plastic better than tiny screws in production. Thankfully this weekend they only need light mics and not a heavy expensive flash because I wouldn't trust them. They appear to be poorly designed. I wouldn't trust them with any gear and most likely throw them away after the weekend.
