Review on 🔍 High-Grade HDX4CF4 Carbon Filter for Optimal Compatibility (CFS) by George Utley

This filter is not compatible with the unit it is advertised for. I don't have $40 because I bought two filters and after the first one kept leaking I figured it was bad so I tried the second one. None of them fit and I spent 5 hours running water back through my house. A friend of mine who is a licensed plumber tried and failed for an hour before realizing that this filter did not have the same performance as the actual filter that was intended to be used. It's a little higher, it's almost invisible, but if you put it in the block and put a spirit level on it you can see that the filter is above the o-ring and this is preventing the block from sealing. I don't even get my money back and ended up replacing the entire unit because I needed water in my house. STOP SELLING THIS PRODUCT. Only trust a filter if it is actually created by HDX and NOT by CFS.
