So it's very slim and not bulky; This is because there is no separate battery. Didn't know how to use USB charging (one thing I do NOT like is the length of the cable. My USB ports are on the left side of the computer and I also use the pad on the right side, that's another thing String to take with you on trips!), but it seems to have worked. I would recommend the panel for functionality and style, maybe not so much for the cable! EDIT - Disappointed as the panel does NOT stay connected and is difficult to work with.
