Great first running watch

I ran with the Nike+ running app on my phone with my armband on and compared them on my first run. They are only a few meters and a second apart so the GPS is definitely very accurate. It's very easy to use (once you set it up, press the middle button on the right, select your workout type again with the middle button - I only used running, but there are also cycling, swimming and multisport modes - and then select Chrono or Interval). The bracelet is very comfortable and it's so nice to be able to work without a phone and look at the watch to check the distance. After each mile there will be a small beep and then display the pace for that mile. When you hit your fastest mile or kilometer or longest run, it emits some silly beeps and displays a vague Atari-style greeting, which I really like. Just make sure to press the center button again once you've finished running to keep the time accurate. I'll update when I'm connected to a computer to use the analysis but I think it's the perfect watch for a first run of a bit but haven't really gotten to it yet, cadence and all that stuff to work. I'm a little annoyed at having to update it in a computer application. I prefer not to turn on my computer when I'm at home, so I resisted at first, but gave up when it couldn't connect in a reasonable amount of time. Visit Timex.com/go to ensure your computer is compatible - it must be a Microsoft or Apple operating system. I still like it and it's very comfortable.
