I upgraded my Fire to the latest version and needed a new case, after looking around and not finding what I wanted at a decent price I ended up buying this one. Initially I found it difficult to remove the black frame used to maintain the shape of the case. I thought I would never remove it, but after a little tug, I managed. Installing a new case on my 11th gen Fire wasn't that difficult. The cover fits snugly and protects most of the fire perfectly. Although it's often sold as a children's suitcase, I like it overall. I watch a lot of videos at night so I have more space to capture the fire myself. The downside of the case is the lack of actual reporting, so I'll make the case for that. Another downside is the lack of a stand on the back, so you'll have to lean your fire against something if you don't want to hold it all the time. Overall good value for money, made from high density foam which gives the part good protection.
