That was a frustrating install. I read a review on here from a mechanical engineer that made me laugh, and feel a little better too -- I'm also an engineer and this made me sweat. Took several attempts to make it nice and tight, and safe. The thing doesn't budge a bit. I actually ended up using the clips that hook onto the anchors in the seat, as well as the seatbelt to strap it down. Now that it's in, it's fantastic! Oh, I should mention I installed forward facing. My knees are no longer touching the steering wheel! Thank goodness. A real space saver. The kiddo loves it too. Hope this is encouraging -- take a deep breath, maybe come back to it :). Good luck!
