Too small for a thimble

Surprisingly small needles. I know they have sizes but I wasn't sure what that means when I saw them. These needles are too small for the sewing palm (unless you have small hands). They are suitable for working with leather parts or the like, but in my opinion they are too small for sewing leather clothes.
