Installed one of these as a puller on my 2001 Ram 1500 as part of an electric fan rebuild. Assembly and wiring was easy (pun intended). Draws lots of air to cool my 318ci engine. Later I plan to install another one next to this one to keep my truck super cool while towing. For those unsure, these fans should draw 3750 CFM, and the rule of thumb for sizing a radiator fan is that it should draw at least 10 cfm per cubic inch of displacement once you set the boost. By that logic, one of these fans should be enough to cool a naturally aspirated engine down to 375cc or a supercharged 2.0L (122cc) down to 31lbs. Update: Just installed a second fan. The first fan worked well, cooling the truck to 90Β°F while unloading, but towing or hauling a significant amount of weight caused the temperature to rise a bit higher than I would have liked (up to 215), causing the Fan ran much longer than usual after truck was shut down. Two of those fans should be redundant, and that's exactly what I want.
