Imitation Radiator Fan for sale, save you big money!

It says 90W so I assumed it would fit my existing fan but I was wrong. I was supposed to put it back in the pits and return it as soon as I tested it but I had to be on the road the next day so I took a chance and overheated the car. The fan literally has no motor. They either forgot to install it or found a way to make it look like a legitimate product. It reminds me of a trip to Guatemala and I used AA batteries for my camera. I bought new ones and took a picture, after that they died. I…

Used as a heat gun in a My Solar Shed project

I am very satisfied with the quality of this product (12 inch radiator fan). I use it in a vent in my solar shed to push hot air out. I reversed the blades and fan wire polarity to make it a thrust fan and it was very easy to do. I also use a small motor controller to set fan speed and current draw. On the fastest setting, you definitely know the wind is very strong. I usually set my controller so that the fan draws about 3 tenths of an amp most of the time. This seems like a good compromise…

Cooled well until the bracket broke

Revised after opening the bug. As it turns out, the bottom brackets can come loose and the fan will swing back up the hill and hit the water pump pulley. This caused the pulley to wear due to the insulation of the power cable and short circuiting it, resulting in the failure of the fan. So the failure wasn't the fan's fault, it was the fault of the installer (me). As long as it didn't fail it worked pretty well, I don't think it was quite adequate for my motor (I think it really needed a 17"…

Fantastic fan, easy to install and connect.

Installed one of these as a puller on my 2001 Ram 1500 as part of an electric fan rebuild. Assembly and wiring was easy (pun intended). Draws lots of air to cool my 318ci engine. Later I plan to install another one next to this one to keep my truck super cool while towing. For those unsure, these fans should draw 3750 CFM, and the rule of thumb for sizing a radiator fan is that it should draw at least 10 cfm per cubic inch of displacement once you set the boost. By that logic, one of these fans

Good product fit for spares

I just recently installed a 7 inch fan as a transmission cooler fan and a 16 inch fan as an extra cooler fan to use when needed and I'm still impressed. Seems well done. Very quiet operation. Very thin. Etc. Both are actually quieter than the two 10 inch motors I have which regularly keep my motor cool and will likely switch to that brand in the future. I haven't had a chance to really notice a temp difference on any of them as they are just auxiliary fans to use if needed, but I'm sure it will

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Having problems

Wow, great fan at a low price! I highly recommend it for applications that require a 12 inch radial fan. I'm so happy with my measly savings that I'll add the details. I used this 12" Upgr8 Universal Fan to replace the fan on my 2013 Polaris Ranger 800 Mid-Size Side-by-Side ATV. One of the 7 blades on my original fan broke, causing it to run with vibration and noise. The original fan assembly (Polaris OEM part number 2411732) comes as a complete assembly, with the fan attached to a plastic…
