I just recently installed a 7 inch fan as a transmission cooler fan and a 16 inch fan as an extra cooler fan to use when needed and I'm still impressed. Seems well done. Very quiet operation. Very thin. Etc. Both are actually quieter than the two 10 inch motors I have which regularly keep my motor cool and will likely switch to that brand in the future. I haven't had a chance to really notice a temp difference on any of them as they are just auxiliary fans to use if needed, but I'm sure it will help when towing or off-roading. generously on a lean pedal on a hot day. They expel a lot of air. There were no instructions included with the product, so for those who want a "push" fan, you need to do the following: 1) Unscrew the nut from the center of the fan and rotate the fan 180Β°. We recommend using some blue Loctite to hold the nut in place. This applies to all boards, regardless of size. 2) Swap wiring. In other words, use the black wire as power and the blue wire as ground. This allows the fan to rotate in the correct direction. The motor is reversible, so you'll be fine. I also didn't use the springs intended for the tie-down as fasteners. The fan does not vibrate as much and does not generate excessive noise in the normal operation of the fan. Only getting a 4/5 because it has no instructions. If you don't want to perform this installation without instructions, have it professionally installed.
