Fasteners come in different lengths and widths. The longest in the set is 5 inches long and about 3.5 to 4 inches wide. Barely big enough to fit your fingers in your pocket. Others are much shorter, opening closer to 2.5 to 3 inches. They are very sturdy and a child or someone with weak hands or arthritis will not be able to open a bag with their clasp.
