Review on Stay Cozy with Steve Madden's X Large Women's Clothing Collection: Coats, Jackets & Vests by Kari Sather

My friend bought a black Forever 21 jacket with a large hood and it was so cute I wanted something similar. I searched for almost a year until I found this jacket. Pros: Comes with pockets, has a nice big hood, warm wool blend, nice cut and fits well. I usually take a size 10 to wear sweaters and this one fits perfectly. It also looks very similar to the jacket my friend bought from Forever 21 and fits her very well. I wore it outside and it kept me warm. The back is longer so you don't have to worry about putting on a dress and flaunting anything. Cons: It is woven and in my experience woven jackets tend to roll up. I have a lint razor ready. dandruff too. As soon as I unpacked it, I saw it crumble. The buttons are large and appear to be sewn on haphazardly. One button fell off within an hour of wearing. Since the hood is large, it is also a bit heavy. Fur: It's a bit long. I'm 5'6" to 5'7". I thought it was thigh length but it's almost to the knees. This gives it a nice sleek look, but it's longer than I wanted. Recommendations: I would suggest re-sewing the buttons to make them more secure, or just replacing them entirely. I saw some reviews saying they don't have pockets. I would suggest checking the lining. Maybe the bags are closed. Some of the new jackets I've bought in the past had patch pockets but I could see they were lined. As for woven fabric and hair loss, I don't know what to do about it other than endure it? The hood covers peripheral vision but can be pulled back; it is big enough.
