Installed on my 2003 Toyota Highlander Limited

It's been around 3 months since I installed this bluetooth adapter and so far it hasn't disappointed. I've taken several 3.5 hour car rides using the XM radio via my cell phone and there was no clutter or interference the entire drive! Dealing with a poor FM connection blurred by local broadcast stations is a win-win! So, IMO, still a decent vehicle accessory for wireless tech. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Technology tends to outperform us. But what to do if the car is still reliable and there is no reason to change it due to the lack of modern conveniences? Welcome after-sales solutions, right? If you are familiar with several hand tools and are willing to spend a few minutes (it only took me 15 minutes from start to finish. It took longer to get the tools and place them) installing this bluetooth adapter, you can also connect your mobile phone to your old car. I used to use a Bluetooth/FM modulator to connect my phone on all these trips, but there was always interference no matter what channel I switched to, and after a few hours I had to change channels because it was broadcasting when We have reached another region. So the lack of clear sound and the need to search and switch became a real pain. Yes, this adapter was about 3x more expensive than the FM adapter, but after the adapter was moved to the glove box, attached with velcro and plugged in. at the back to the factory radio - BOOM! clean and clear Bluetooth audio from my phone and XM radio. I'm not sure why there were some negative experiences, but if I had to guess, the list of apps isn't very specific to certain car models.
