Works well when instructions are followed

I've tried several tempered glass screen protectors; It is the first ever to install without errors the first time. I found it almost impossible to align and install a glass panel without using a frame; either it will not align properly or dust will be trapped. Thanks to the frame that comes with this device, the installation went with excellent results. Some people say that the frame is difficult to remove after installing the glass. My guess is that they either accidentally installed the bezel upside down (don't know how, it snaps right onto the tablet) or they misplaced the glass during installation and the bezel caught on it when trying to remove it . Below are the exact steps for a quality install: First: This is a process where extremes pay off (if you want a perfect install). Make sure the environment is as dust-free as possible. I installed mine in my car which is much more dust free than my house. Alternatively, you can turn on the shower in the bathroom for a few minutes to clear the air of dust, then turn it off and install it there. Very few homes have dust-free environments, and any dust will be a problem. Make sure your installation environment is dust free. (Again, the bathroom is probably your best bet.) Second, snap the included alignment frame onto your iPad (the "deep" side faces the tablet and snaps into place). Then follow the instructions step by step: 1. Wear a sleeveless shirt. (Sleeves collect dust.) 2. Wash your hands and dry them with a lint-free towel (most paper towels will do). Do this in a different location than where you are installing the glass, e.g. B. in the kitchen.3. Approach the installation site and use the supplied wet wipe to clean the surface of the iPad.4 VERY thoroughly. Use a drying pad to remove detergent residue. Make sure the surface is completely dry and absolutely free of streaks and dust.5. Despite the appearance, use the included adhesive patches to remove the last traces of dust. No matter how clean that surface looks, it *will* be left with microscopic dust marks. Therefore, go over the entire surface with an adhesive plaster.6. This is the important part: very carefully remove the transparent protective film from one side of the protective glass. This is the sticky side that faces the tablet. After placing the LONG side of the glass on the alignment frame (with the hole on the HOME button side), make sure the top and bottom of the glass are aligned with the edges of the frame and place the glass gently on the surface so it fits completely into the frames.7. You will notice the glass starting to stick to the tablet. Carefully remove the frame and set it aside. If the glass sticks, bubbles are likely to form. When this happens, VERY gently lift the rim of the glass to release the bubble and then run your fingers over the surface of the glass. You may need to do this with multiple bubbles. If you do this carefully and correctly, you will most likely end up with a perfect setup (or close to it). The frame eliminates alignment issues so you can focus on keeping dust particles out (the biggest problem) and removing bubbles (which can attract random dust particles, so do this slowly and carefully). Following this process (some of which I learned from mistakes made with previous products) I achieved a perfect installation with no bubbles, no dust, and excellent alignment. leave the second piece of glass for the future. Note that you cannot be too careful during the installation process. The frame makes alignment a lot easier, but your worst enemy is the dust particles. Therefore, I recommend removing as much dust as possible before installation. "Vacuum-sucking" the air *doesn't* work because the vacuum itself produces dust (no matter how "dust-free" it calls itself). Indoor "dust collectors” are better than nothing, but there are always random dust particles in the air. That's why I recommend turning on the shower in the bathroom to clear the air of all dust particles and flush them down the drain. Even then, you'll find some remnants, so be very careful with the dust during this process. The frame does its job. It works as it should, is easy to apply, allows the glass to be leveled (if you're careful) and is easy to remove. I had no problems with the frame at all. As the ad says, the glass works well. Ignore the "anti-fingerprint" ads; None of the screen protectors protect against fingerprints. At first glance it seems so, but at the end of the first day this "feature" will fail. The key to avoiding fingerprints is to use a high-quality, friction-free stylus. You can also buy screen cleaners that are fingerprint resistant (meaning they apply a coating to the screen that makes wiping fingerprints easier). RainX window cleaner works like silicone spray. There are also special cleaners. But if you really want to avoid fingerprints, use a low-friction stylus. All in all a great product in every way. and nowadays there are only a few.
