Review on πŸ”¨ ProRider USA Horse Shoe Hoof Care Farrier Tool Nail Driving Hammer - [Model Number 98452] by Jose Fongdara

Just get a real blacksmith's hammer, not this

The handle is uncomfortable, just cylindrical. The metal plates holding the handle in place look nice but don't go well with the hammer eyelet. It looks like three separate pieces held together with epoxy, emphasizing that the pieces of the hammer were barely assembled, with a huge black and gray mass on the sides of the handle, followed by a metal plate and then again a huge mass inside Inside the grip tab. Hammer. The hammer is bulky and unfinished, making it useless when attempting to hammer in nails, and is very heavy compared to traditional hammers. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're willing to reshape his head to actually be useful as a blacksmith's hammer and then make a new handle that actually fits and feels right in your hands.

Pros
  • good quality square head steel hammer for forging. Steel reinforced wooden handle. 1 foot 1/2" long, 3 1/8" wide. Weighs 12 ounces.
Cons
  • Very expensive
