Great value for money on tools

This was bought for my daughter who has 3 horses. It pays for itself after two trimmings. It's all steel and I highly recommend it. She has a 14 hour old pony that only works if you throw a pole without putting a pin through the holes. If you had a smaller animal I would cut the bottom off or drill more holes.

Very durable at Hufschmied

I have drafts and needed something to hold my foot while treating an abscess. I am pleasantly surprised that it has held up very well the 10 or so times I have used it on an 18 hour mare who was unhappy that her hooves were getting messed up. The magnet didn't hold well, but that was the least of my worries. Highly recommended for occasional use.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

Happy daughter on horseback

We bought this for our daughter who is learning to trim with our trimmer/farrier. It's great for all their horses, from draft horses to Arabian mares. She loves her new stand. The horses are happy too. Good cushioning for their feet to keep them comfortable while trimming. I would recommend this stand.

Large Metal Hoof Jack

THIS hoof jack is METAL and heavy. Finally ready to take care of my horses hooves myself. This stand was well priced and appears to be very durable. The magnets are very strong and I can't wait to use them on my horses! ONE BUT: You NEED to drill more holes as this hoof lift is way too high even on the lowest setting. This has been mentioned in other reviews but would like to say it again. I assumed it would after reading the reviews but bought it anyway. I do NOT regret my purchase but willโ€ฆ

Pros

Light weight, great flexibility, but really reliable devices

Despite the company name, almost no plastic is used. It's only light because it's made from a wide but shaped steel plate and steel tube. Sophisticated design: easy to switch between hoof support and leg support; When you pull out a needle, the natural instinct is to stick to a nearby magnet, no matter which side the needle is on, so as not to lose it. The support tube you are not currently using attaches to one of the magnets and stays out of the way and out of sight when in use or carrying. a

High Contry Farrier Stand good value and high quality

I bought a farrier stand for my husband as he wanted to start making hooves for our horses to save money . We went through various reviews and prices on Amazon to find the highest quality blacksmith stand that met our needs. The package was well protected and came with easy setup instructions. It is durable and appears to be very durable. My husband and I both found the magnetic piece to be useful because it allows you to place forging tools and an extended stand bar. NOT plastic - steel!

Great booth! The base is diamond coated steel and the stand is steel, not plastic! It's very stable. It also has 2 attachments: the usual round one for working on the outside of the hoof and one (shown on a stand) to rest the hoof on to work to trim/pinch the gait. This special attachment gives you something to press on while grating. This quality is very important to me because my rental pony is too small to get a leg between my legs. Also, the lowest stand height is perfect for my 12.3 inchโ€ฆ

Made of metal and great back protector!

I have been grooming my horse's hooves for over 30 years. I keep my horses barefoot because they don't really need shoes. Years ago my blacksmith at the time taught me how to do this (he said it wasn't rocket science) and that way I could keep it running most of the time and he only had to go out twice a year. However, I don't stand as tall as I did over 30 years ago and this product is PERFECT for saving me from new chiropractor visits! It's very durable, easily swappable "heads" and isโ€ฆ
