Portable And Comfortable GigaTent Pet Cot - Durably Constructed With Steel Frame For Rest And Play Review

Bought one a few years ago, and my dog loved it. Eventually my toddler daughter got to it and jumped on it and it ripped. Bought a second one because the dog loved it. First, the wrong color came. No big deal. But about 2 months later it ripped with very little use! I tried contacting the seller since it was past the return window but still very new. I got some nonsense response asking if I received it, they didn't even read what I wrote.

Our 73 pound large dog liked this convenient cot, but it only lasted 10 months outdoors. Maybe this cot isn't meant to be used outdoors daily? It tended to collect moisture in small puddle in center if we had fog or rain (very seldom in So Cal), instead of draining through. The material recently deteriorated and tore when our dog last stepped onto it. Luckily he wasn't frightened and just backed himself out of the large tear. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the cot is designed to be taken…

Third update: seller provides excellent customer service and reached out to offer a brand new replacement, so I'm hopeful this one will hold up better than the first one.This is an updated review. I received this item on 5 March and by 21 March, my 60 pound Belgian Malinois had put holes with her nails from getting up. For the price, I would expect this product to last at least a few years before showing wear and tear like this. I do not recommend this product.

This dog cot is easy to open/close and comes with a bag for storage. I like the durable frame and material. Since we are just getting started, my pups are becoming acquainted with the idea of laying on the cot rather than the ground. They seem to like it a lot. Using positive reinforcement helps!

I think this is an all-around great bed! As a side note, I did return it because it was just too large for our needs/space. We have a petite black lab who is a guide dog and we wanted something for her to lay on when she is on stage with my husband (he performs music). I bought this to train a pup to it in classes. So far, my dog likes it. I like that it folds and carries as I plan to take it to classes and trials. I could find no other that folds and the size I need is large and would be clumsy to carry in a car several times a week without the fold feature. It appears to be sturdy and well made. I bought this to teach my 7 month old Black Russian Terrier to "Place", and this is great. Dolly Parton weighs 60 pounds and the large size is perfect for her and for the space where we will use it. Prompt shipment and delivery. Sturdy and comfy. Glad I chose this one over all the others on revain.

I purchased both medium and large for our dogs. I purchased them a few days before our camping trip. I was looking for a foldable bed which could be easily transported and without tools required to setup. This was definitely something I was looking for - would recommend it to those looking for easy, durable and tools free setup.

Very nice product but the largest they have is too small and really should be a Medium. My Sam (German Shepherd in the photo) is only 6 months old and 65 pounds and is already too big for it.

I ordered a large for my 85 lbs. GSD. The material and build of this cot is pretty sturdy. I just wish the size large is bigger than what it is.

This cot got in today and I love the durability and that I didn't have to put anything together. It being easy to collapse and that it came with a little bag is going to make clean up super easy when we aren't using it.

It took a while before my dog was comfortable using it, but she loves it now. I wish it would fold up flatter and had a clasp to keep it closed, but the bag is nice to have. As nice as this product is, I do think it’s overpriced.

As the butler for my big boy Mastiff this is the ideal addition to help keep him comfortable in the yard. Sturdy and the travel bag is a bigger help than I thought it would be when we are on the road. Quality product.

This began ripping on the corners where attached to the frame within 2 months. The frame was also not as solid as the brand previously used which lasted 5 years.

Our dog wouldn't consider using it. I spoke to the seller and we came to a compromise. I would donate the pet bed to the local animal hospital and he would reimburse me half of the cost. I can't review the product per se, because we didn't use it.

Product would have been great if my stupid dog hadn’t tore it up. May not be suitable for pets that like to stretch out while sleeping! Easily replaceable covers would be great.
