Review on Portable And Comfortable GigaTent Pet Cot - Durably Constructed With Steel Frame For Rest And Play by Michael Tran

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Lasted 10 months outdoors

Our 73 pound large dog liked this convenient cot, but it only lasted 10 months outdoors. Maybe this cot isn't meant to be used outdoors daily? It tended to collect moisture in small puddle in center if we had fog or rain (very seldom in So Cal), instead of draining through. The material recently deteriorated and tore when our dog last stepped onto it. Luckily he wasn't frightened and just backed himself out of the large tear. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the cot is designed to be taken apart to replace the material. We have another type of outdoor PVC frame cot priced only approximately $20 more. That frame so far has lasted us over 10 years and we've been able to replace the mesh material through the maker. That cot's mesh material drains, dries fast, is very strong and lasts several years, so we are disappointed with the GigaTent.
