Good for the price.

I only take care of my horses so I can't speak for everyday use but for me they are durable enough. I can't go wrong with the price.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Some bugs

Suitable for once every few months Ferrier

The ties holding the apron are very cheaply made, the plastic clasp does not hold. Not bad for a beginner, but not for someone who walks in shoes a lot.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • No instructions

The leg straps are not suitable for persons under the age of 12.

Seriously, I'm only a size 8 woman and those leg straps don't wrap halfway around my hips. The skin is thin but fit. The magnet works. But I have to sew on or otherwise add my own leg straps to use this apron.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Unreliable

This is a VERY poor quality apron

This is a VERY poor quality apron. I've been using it for 3 days and the skin started cracking in the shoulder area and on the hips where the leg rests on the thigh. The skin is very split and is a very loose material. If you want an apron that will last, this isn't it. No leather thing was that bad.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Farrier apron is good for horses

This apron was a great price, the leather was soft and supple with extra padding around the knees. A pleasant surprise was to find a small magnet in the shape of a horseshoe for nails on the side. The only thing I didn't like was that the waist was so high and not tight enough to not tie a bit of a belt (about a women's size 7/8). There were also small zippered knee pads that appear very flimsy. Haven't tried it yet, but I really want to! So far very satisfied.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some little things

Really very surprised at how good they are

Really quite surprised at how good they are. They were a little long for me - I'm a 5'2" woman and weigh 111 pounds. They weren't too long below the knees but too long above the waist - they pressed into my stomach. When I bend over, roll I just pop them on once or twice and voila! The soft, fluffy knee areas are a huge bonus - nothing beats the way a horse twists its hoof into your knee when you try to trim it!For those who who say cords and clasps are cheap - THEY WANT THEM TO BE CHEAP! sucked

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Updates
