I wanted a rash shirt to wear to a water park while on vacation. Found more than a rash shirt as this comes with boy shorts. I’m a size 8, so ordered a medium. Was pleasantly surprised that the shirt has a built-in shelf bra so a bikini top underneath is not necessary, if shelf bras work for you. I gave it 4 stars because the bra pads are far more rigid than the pads I’m used to in sports bras. Because they are stiff, they tend to move around in the bra. Photo shows 4 mineral powder jars sitting atop a pad to demonstrate how stiff it is. I will either tack them in place so they don’t go walkies, or I’ll swap them out with some from a sports bra. The rash shirt fits close to the body like a traditional rash shirt and similar to compression wear, of which I’m a fan. Boy shorts are a good fit for me. But I’m pretty well balanced top and bottom. If you’ve got more hip, buy for your bottom size and go with a looser shirt fit. The shorts are just too cute to overstuff, ya know what I mean? If a shelf bra doesn’t work for you, you could carefully cut away the bra, as it is only in front, anchored by the side seams, the raglan sleeve seams and the neckline. I may do this and wear a bikini top underneath so to have an option of removing the shirt in public. Overall, super cute. Fun print. Flattering fit.
