The most helpful thing about Alston & Bird is the team of professionals that I have met throughout my career there. Their expertise and ability to understand business needs are unmatched, and they provide me with excellent counsel as we navigate through complex issues. The lack of transparency into how billing decisions are made has led us to pay more than necessary for legal services. They can be difficult to work with, especially when our expectations aren't aligned. We are still working out the kinks in our relationship, but the firm's culture is not conducive to collaboration; instead it rewards a competitive environment.
