Very bright and beautiful crayons. After reading some reviews I thought they would work for our chalk wall we painted in the playroom. They are easy to use and the colors are amazing. but cleaning is another story. The color will come off, but markings will remain, bold or not, so even after the color is gone you can still see what you've scribbled on it. DD painted on it and I wiped it (after 1 hour) with a damp cloth and the paint came off but you can still see everything she painted. So for a chalk painted wall I wouldn't recommend it at all. I'll use them for a while and then repaint the area. I wish they would have worked, really great colors :)
