I am a quilter. My iron is paramount so please listen to me and anyone else complaining about leaking Rowenta irons! IS THAT SO! I've been an avid Rowenta user for over 30 years but a few years ago I bought their most expensive iron to replace my old Rowenta which had lasted over a decade. And after 11/2 years the new one started to flow. Then I bought another one. And he also started pouring the water this morning. I am NOT a happy tourist. ROWENTA YOU DESTROY HER REPUTATION! Everyone in my quilting guild complains about it - and trust me, the quilters say. So for every bad review you read here, there are probably 10 others. Or more! I buy pure irons. I mounted one on a board next to my long arm and it's amazing. In fact, I like her more than the recently deceased Rowenta. AND THAT'S HALF THE COST. So save money and nerves and run to the nearest Pur Iron dealer. or someone who is NOT ROWENTA. There! I spilled! Hope this helps someone.
